Recognitions and Monuments

Louis Braille was never famous in his lifetime.  He died, himself poor and his system unrecognized by his own country's government. But now, many people recognize just how brilliant he was.  Therefore, as a hero to the blind, he has earned international respect, acknowledgment, and, of course, a few monuments.  Below is a gallery of the more prestigious recognitions dedicated to Louis Braille.
